Progress this week, but thr pace has slowed. I didn't work as regularly on the manuscript, but also I've finished most of the easier part (Results). It takes muuuuch longer to write 150 words of Abstract than of Results. Still! 40% of the way to my goal isn't bad.
And the MS. progress helps counter the sinking sensation from starting to analyze my data from the last two weeks...sigh. Trying to add more N to an already successful graph is always a bad idea.

This is a very odd thing to say. If adding data points is trending towards altering your conclusion, you should be fucking *grateful* that you are finding this out now, rather than after the "successful graph"--i.e., one that lets you draw the conclusion you like--is published.
Oh, can't you for once recognize human emotion preceding scientific acceptance??
Also, it's more that I spent a week trying to flesh out one range of a variable, but analyzed cells are either not in the desired range, or they may not be includable for whatever reason. The graph's conclusion isn't on the ropes; I'm just annoyed that the week may not have netted me what I needed...

That's some good progress though. You're outpacing me, though we are dealing with 103 degree fevers and rivers of snot in the household. Though on the other hand, my babies are older and less directly dependent than yours. It's a wash I suppose.
