The Manuscript of Uncertain Fate has now met a Different But Equally Uncertain Fate.
We are invited to revise and resubmit, blah, blah, told we should address reviewers' questions, blah, do any additional experiments to strengthen the paper, blah blah, due back by Sep 29, blah blah WAIT WHAT?

Congrats on the positive decision!
Best of luck in your revisions!
May you be fast, efficient, and brilliant. I'm glad they are willing to reconsider.
The deadline may be good news. It could indicate that the journal is holding space for this paper in a particular issue (i.e., they plan to accept it). Good luck!
Been there, recently.
Don't forget to breathe, eat, sleep, and try not to get sick.
I usually get sick when panicked scampering.
Good luck! Kick some butt!
Short deadlines are good news! There is political garbage language in there that an editor must say to protect rear end. They don't expect more experiments with a deadline that close, but they want a careful revision of the present language. At least that is my experience.
