Can you cross out "Sarah" and say "Bristol"? UPDATED, AGAIN! I LOSE!

Final update: The campaign has released the news that Bristol is pregnant now, she's marrying the father, respect their privacy blah blah blah. Fine. Wuz WRONG. Will return to attacking Palin on the issues. But make no mistake, liberal pals--Palin will be adored by a large mass of dittohead conservatives who wouldn't have gotten out to vote for a McCain-Romney ticket. We need to bring the fight.

Ok, this is a total smear job, but I. Don't. Care. You smear Kerry as a cowardly trash-talker, you smear Obama as Muslim, you smear Edwards as a pretty boy? (Ok maybe that last one was true.)

Then fine, if that's where we are with political discourse.

There's a scurrilous rumor going around, but I'm going to promote it on the oh please chance it's true and will ruin the lives of some decent people: Sarah Palin's newest "son" is actually her daughter Bristol's.

Discuss.

And for some context, a photo of Palin pregnant with some earlier child doomed to end up with a sled-dog name.

UPDATE: The nice folks over at the Kos are going ape over how mean and trashy and intrusive it is to write smear stories like this. But their admins haven't put the squash down on the writer of Part 1. Behold, Part 2. As one perceptive commenter put it, "She don't pregnant."

And my own feeling: Palin has a paper-thin resume but the fundies love her for her family values. So if they're going to vote for her on the basis of family values, and she's going to shove down our throat that she was Saint Sarah for bringing to term a Down's syndrome baby....hells yeah, I want this public. Sorry, Bristol, you're probably a really nice girl and you shouldn't have to get put through this. You might want to tell your mom that. Right after she drops out of the VP race for "family" reasons.

I have no idea what you are talking about, but I say fuck it, smear these right-wing depraved sick-fuck pieces of shit. As far as I'm concerned, they deserve anything and everything they get. They fucking fucked up this entire motherfucking WORLD with their deranged imperialistic wackaloon insanity, and they can kiss my motherfucking ass.

Smear their sorry evil traitorious America-hating world-destroying asses all you want. You won't hear any complaints from me.

Next time I'm angry I'm not going to waste time kicking table-legs or spouting off my usual lame "piece of fucking shit!"--I'm just going to hire you to do my cursing for me.

Fuck those fuckers. Especially those potential grandmother fuckers.

Really, aren't her policies bad enough? Shouldn't complaining about them instead of her personal life be enough to completely destroy McCain's appeal to "middle America"? Smears backfire.

Dr. Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde said...

If I thought that everyone in America would find her policies as distasteful as you and I do, this wouldn't be worth talking about.

But since one of her "policies" is a strictly anti-choice stance even in cases of rape or incest, yes, I'd say the whiff of a possibility that she covered up her own daughter's pregnancy is worth a mention.

OK, that's a good point. Although then the story is not a smear but a legitimate campaign issue. If substantiated.

This is not a woman who is seven months pregnant.

This looks like a woman who has recently had a baby.

Seriously. WTF? How dumb do you have to be to think you can get away with something like this? What I want to find is a video from the Republican Governors Convention, where she gave the keynote speech a few hours before "delivery". Strange - the RGA's website has no videos from this conference...

OMFG!!! I'm convinced.

Dr. Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde said...

The one that really nails it for me--photos are so hard, even though she sure doesn't look preggers--is the video of her at that conference trashing Hillary. She is one month from delivering a 6 lb baby but she is able to bend over and rest her elbows on her crossed legs?

She shouldn't be able to do that at that stage without looking very awkward. No way.

Anonymoustache--apparently she is also (unsurprisingly) against contraceptive instruction in schools--one of those abstinence-only zealots. Jeez, lady, if you can't keep your own daughter's legs together, how do you think a teacher is going to?

If it's true.

Since Friday I've been wondering why her husband wasn't holding the baby.

Smears backfire.

Have you been completely fucking oblivious for the last forty years!?

Drugmonkey said...

DrdrA, republican men don't hold babies, geez!

Anonymous said...

Drugmonkey-

I'm not around enough republican men to know that- I only see them on TV occassionally (when I stray from my steady diet of PBS).

And Dr. J.

Where did you get that picture?

OMFG ELEVENTY111111111111111

This is soooo much better than the Rev Wright bullshit. SLAM DUNK!

I wonder when the Clinton News Network will go after her - and grab your eggtimers for how long the attack takes to be ruled sexism by the pubs.

There won't be nothin left of Palin in 60 days... yowza!

Kudos to who found the dailykos story!

Doubledoc: the Daily News is the source of the picture.

Sigh...
not that I want to defend her...
and I will probably invite everyone's wrath, but oh well...

now can we focus on the issues, please? Like how McCain's policies will ruin the economy? And leave even less money for scientific research?

Dr. Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde said...

I been yapping and voting about issues for years. Lotta good it's done me.

Also, based on our bar tab in Iraq, there is no way there will be more money for science for the next 5 years at least. So not much point talking about it, really.

But yes, we will return the regularly scheduled programming of post-doc angst and Obama adulation after this.

The bottom line here is that one of the following two things must be true:

1) Sarah Palin has gone to extreme, slimy lengths to cover up her daughter's pregnancy by positing that the child is her own. In this case, she is even more slimy than her Republican nature suggests.

2) Sarah Palin showed ridiculously poor judgment by getting on a commercial airplane after going into labor, endangering herself, her baby, and everyone on board.

Like I said, at least one of these two things must be true. She's either a slimy liar, a woman with horrendous judgment, or both.

UPDATE (again):

17 year old Bristol is preggers NOW. News release from the McBush camp:

(it won't all show in the window... copy the two lines and paste them together)

Too convenient.
They're probably whisk away Bristol for the next X months, away from questions and prying eyes, and come back later with an adopted baby.
Dr.J, I was skeptical of the story initially but am even more skeptical of the rethugs now.
Too fucking convenient a story to sell to the GOP base.

I think something odd is still going on based on the fact that the Matsu hospital (where Sarah Palin gave birth) posts the names and dates of everyone who was born at the hospital. Oddly, it shows no entry for Trig Palin on his birthday, Apr 18.

Nor any babies born on the 17th or 19th. I suppose he could have been taken down because his mother was the governor.

But there are other possibilities, too.

I just want her to release medical records, same as McCain and Obama have both done.

Sarah the fisherwoman has cooked up a whale of a story. And good thing she's a gun-toting bible-clinger... both hands are occupied so she won't kill her future son-in-law. It'll be a shotgun wedding for sure!

Thank you for a great pick McWreck.... we love Sarah and her family values! hoo-wah. The Palins need their own show after Bounty Hunter Dog to showcase the happenings of the non-contiguous states. Fascinating shit!

Obama, fire up the Uhaul... you have a big white house to move into come Jan!

Dr. J.-

I agree with you, something is still fishy here. The daughter supposedly was home from school with mono during the time this new pregnancy was initiated... !?!

And now they are leaving the daughter in the bus with the baby, i.e. no more trotting out in public view?

Something is NOT right.

It might be because I'm not American but I don't really see the conspiracy. Are you saying that she adopted her own daughter's son just because he was born out of wedlock? And why would she do that? Because they don't like the boyfriend?

Otherwise, wouldn't they just wisk them off to get married now?(which I guess they are?)

hm, more so I would like to focus on why the politics she (and McCain) stand for is so scary and leave her personal life out of it... I guess though, it might be hard since she want to pose as a moral and highstanding Christian? (thank goodness I've never said I'm a good Christian, just a Christian ;) )

update> what I meant was, is there really that much to say that she didn't give birth to the boy herself?

I admit that if the hospital didn't sohw any records that might be strange... ut would they disclose those to anyone?
